This is the family we stayed with in Jaipur. Home cooked meals and genuine hospitality, these are the kind of people in India that make up for the limitless number of scams. This was our first gay rickshaw driver. Well we are pretty sure he was. These are the cups you drink you lassies in a think yogurt drink mixed with fruit or something extra if you swing that way. This is the aftermath of the drink, you get to smash it a very appealing thought to the destructive mind. A door way in the citie’s palace, these designs were intricate and unique in every way.
It was a nice place but a few days before we came from the Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world. It overshadows most in terms of architecture so you can’t help being disappointed that the palace is imbued with precious gems. Never the less it was a nice pad. – We just happened to catch the monkey man doing his feeding rounds which was great because 30 minutes later the place was deserted. The monkeys lost their shit and did anything to get a banana. Saving some for later.Like a boss.
Classic Indian pose! They love to get their picture taken. From the top of the mountain at the Monkey Temple. The Amber Fort is truly amazing and it’s is not so restricted leaving you to wander the tiny walkways and little hideaways. We did not get a chance to ride one of these but my time will come, I hope they are more comfortable than camels. One of the gardens inside the fort.
