The very photogenic Hoi An

Out of all the places we have visited so far Hoi An seems to embody a quaintness to it which makes for a lovely vignette of images. Sometimes you go places with sweeping landscapes, breathtaking views, or bustling cities that can be difficult for a novice photographer to capture. In Hoi An, its easy. This place has a very relaxed feel for a city of about 120, 000 people. It has a slightly European look to it which I can only guess comes from the French influence. The people are friendly and all sorts of beautiful. And the food!… Well i’ll go into that later. Anyway this place is a pleasure! We have spent our days leisurely cycling around between our three main activities of drinking the local brews, scouring the streets for deliciousness and visiting the tailor for fittings for a new suit for a certain handsome man. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

    Hi Rhidian and Sarah,
Hope you got my email about the iPhone purchase details?
I am just starting to plan the Jacqueline 50th birthday bash to Vietnam and Hoi An was one of the places that I have suggested to the “mob” that we visit, so you pics and comments on the place and the food were very interesting- sounds like a must visit destination. Can you tell me anything about transport for instance would it be possible to hire a minibus to transport all 13 of us from Hue to Hoi An. Any other info on trains/busses etc would be helpful but bear in mind my difficulty with access to such things.

Sounds as though you are having a good time keep it up and try not to loose anything else !!!!

    Love Gpa/Gma
